In the practice of Chinese Astrology, 12 Chinese zodiac animals (Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig) are used to represent the years and five elements (wood, fire, earth, metal, and water).
